Evonik Peroxide Limited operates NZ’s only hydrogen peroxide manufacturing facility near Morrinsville. The site also has facilities for industrial production of pure hydrogen gas and specialty peracids.

We supply customers in both New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region. Industries which use our products include pulp and paper, mining, aerospace, chemical, and food and beverage.

Evonik recognises the importance of reducing its environmental impact through reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. It is actively looking for investment avenues to allow for green energy-use and reduced reliance of fossil-based resources.

Of particular interest is carbon-neutral hydrogen production by steam reforming of biomethane. Fostering relationships with local growers, farmers and industries could lead to a circular waste-to-energy solution for the region.
