• Executive Officer's Opinion piece  '... The New Zealand Government's vision of how bioenergy and biofuels can be a major pathway for getting additional value from forestry and wood processing is very welcome, but long overdue.  The release of the draft Forestry and Wood Processing Industry Transformation Plan (click link below for more) provides a framework for the forestry and agriculture sectors to provide more biomass residues which can be used as an energy fuel.  Successful implementation of the Transformation Plan will ensure that there is adequate wood fuel available to meet future bioenergy and biofuel needs...'
