"The recent calls by a number of parties for an national Energy Strategy are generally narrow in their scope and really only strategies for electricity. The exception is the TIMES-NZ modelling (see below) which attempts to include all sources and uses of energy, and shows that bioenergy has a strong part to play in New Zealand’s future energy supply, so it is imperative that any Energy Strategy be based on this modelling.."
