Bioenergy Association partners with CEP to spotlight the future of fuels

The Bioenergy Association is pleased to announce its partnership with the Carbon and Energy Professionals (CEP) for the upcoming 2026 Conference. The Association looks forward to welcoming delegates, sponsors, and exhibitors who will share valuable insights into the role of bioenergy and other future fuels in New Zealand’s energy transition.

CEP is particularly excited about the 2026 Conference, which marks a significant anniversary and introduces several firsts for both CEP and the event. The milestone year promises an engaging programme, new initiatives, and fresh opportunities for collaboration across the energy sector.

Conference speakers

CEP has just announced the first Keynote speaker for its conference in Hamilton in May. Delegates will learn of best practice execution in energy efficiency from the Managing Director of the Energy Efficiency Movement, Mike Umiker.

Umiker is a passionate advocate for energy efficiency and has worked in the industrial sector on efficiency projects for over 15 years. He is a doer and the Movement is all about sharing experiences and best practices. Read media release
