Aplenty

Aplenty (formerly Hot Lime Labs) has developed a technology to produce clean, renewable CO2 from the combustion of wood and agri-waste for large high-tech commercial greenhouses, improving crop yields by 10-20%.
A Pilot system has been installed and operated successfully at a commercial greenhouse at Mokai and the business has now restructured from being a technology developer to selling and installing fully commercial CO2 extraction systems . The first fully commercial systems will be announced in mid 2026.
Aplenty is also now offering a game-changing funding option for the commercial covered horticulture growing sector: Heat + CO2-as-a-Service.
Aplenty’s service model greatly reduces the financial impediments to changing your fuel supply. Instead of requiring growers to fund, install, and maintain complex biomass gasification equipment, Aplenty takes on the entire ownership and operational burden. Under the "As-a-Service" framework, Aplenty designs, builds, and operates its advanced Baseload Heat and CO2 (BHC) systems on your site. You don’t buy the machines; you simply buy the outputs they produce.
