We are a fully independent environmental consultancy with over 150 professional consultancy staff across all disciplines internationally. Founded in the UK, Eunomia has been operating in Aotearoa New Zealand since 2007. We also have offices in Bristol, London, Brussels, and New York. We work with a wide range of New Zealand and international businesses and organisations to improve their sustainability and competitiveness and to meet their net zero carbon targets.
In New Zealand we have established a reputation for leading edge research and analysis and have particular expertise in waste and resource recovery systems, planning, technology appraisal, data, procurement, and product stewardship.
We are a values driven business and work collaboratively and holistically with organisations to deliver positive change. Our recommendations are guided by the facts allied with quality analysis, to ensure that solutions are aspirational but grounded in practical realities.
Eunomia’s particular interest in the Bio-Energy Association is around the potential to use waste materials as fuel rather than sending these to disposal, particularly where fossil fuel use can be reduced and difficult waste materials can be addressed. We hold a significant data resource relating to waste and recovered material quantities and sources.
