Nelson Pine Industries - Lowering costs and Increasing profits - Upgrading the electric motor controls on Nelson Pine Industries' fan systems has delivered substantial cost savings - with a less than two year payback. Nelson Pine Industries produces GoldenEdge MDF (medium density fibreboard) and Nelson Pine LVL (laminated veneer lumber) from the region's radiata pine plantations. It's one of the world's largest single site processors of MDF, which it exports to overseas markets.
