Occasional Paper 12: Bioenergy opportunities for rural landowners - potential value propositions for investment

Occasional Paper 12: Bioenergy opportunities for rural landowners - potential value propositions for investment (Gifford Consulting, June 2013) - This paper provides an introduction to the potential value propositions for rural landowners by integrating land management with bioenergy. The information presented in this paper is based on published information and in some cases this is now becoming dated and requires more up to date analyses. As BANZ continues to engage with the land users and new information becomes available then these value proposition can be updated. Furthermore, the suitability of a bioenergy project for a farm or group of farms is likely to be highly site specific and so detailed micro-economic assessments are required for each situation.
