Tasmanian biosolids reuse guidelines 2020
This publication is a revision of the document with the same title produced by the Department of Primary Industries, Water and Environment in 1999. Where possible, this revision seeks to standardise requirements for the classification and reuse of biosolids with other contemporary biosolids reuse guidelines in place in other jurisdictions.
This Guideline does not have legal force, however, it is written with a view to being made enforceable under legal instruments such as land use permits, environment protection notices, approved management measures and other environmental approvals. As such, mandatory language (e.g. ‘must’ or ‘restriction’) is used in relation to critical elements of this Guideline.Click here to read the full document.
