Bioenergy solutions can offset greenhouse gas emissions on farms

The NZ Government has released its discussion document Action on Agricultural Emissions which recognises opportunities for farmers to offset their biological emissions. The proposal also sets out funding mechanisms. This is an opportunity for all members to communicate on the opportunities that bioenergy can provide farmers using proven technologies and a fast growing demand for solid and gaseous biofuels. Bioenergy also provides farmers with new revenue streams which will make farming more resilient.
