Transforming Canada’s ForestProducts Industry - Summary of findings from the Future Bio-pathways Project, February, 2010

The research shows that bio-energy and bio-product opportunities are stronger economically and socially when integrated within the traditional industry’s operations rather than on a stand-alone basis. Both the traditional and emerging bio-energy and bio-products operations enjoy higher economic returns and perform better when integrated.
